Chris and Dale and team recently completed work on repairs to the roof of Leigh and Bransford Memorial Hall. We offer thanks for your diligence and cooperation when undertaking this - as it turned out - less than straight forward repair. We asked AES to step in and help us after our original builder let us down part way through the job. They could not have been more helpful - it was so refreshing to deal with a professional, reliable, well-managed company. They made sure we were watertight, assessed and fixed their predecessor's poor workmanship, gave us clear and detailed quotes and then delivered everything as promised on time and to budget. (Utility roof - part flat, part pitched; soffits, fascias and gutters for whole house, new open sided porch with oak pillars built from scratch.) Even when the brief was a bit vague (build a porch that looks like this drawing with matching pillar supporting utility roof overhang) they took time to make sure they'd understood what we wanted and checked with us each step of the way.
We are absolutely delighted with the result. The staff were great to have on site (Both my wife and I found Lindsey the team leader was easy to work with - and helpful to the other trades.) The only issue we had was that they made such quick progress that we almost missed the opportunity to route electrics through the roof-space (my bad planning).
If you're reading this review because you've had a couple of quotes and aren't sure which to choose - I can only tell you that, once we'd chosen AES, we got peace of mind because we felt we were in safe hands. That has proved to be a good hunch - the workmanship has been excellent and we've not had a single issue since the job was finished.
