About Us Report

Brothers Phil & Stan started 'Swindells Bros' carrying out building work and demolition from their family farm in Bosley. Bought an acre of land on Moss Lane, Macclesfield, became a limited company & changed their trading name to Cheshire Demolition & Excavation Contractors Ltd. Erected a waste transfer station after growing requirements to reduce and recycle waste rather than sending to landfill. We installed a waste picking station for the quick & efficient manual sorting of waste that comes in to the yard.

Purchased 20mm limestone chipping and 20m brown decorative gravel for a driveway. Their prices are the best in Macc by a long way (by up to 20% when compared to Wickes etc). Their customer service is second to none, Lisa was incredibly helpful. # Delivered exactly when they said it would be and the driver was sound. Top company. Use them.

Graham did a Stirling job driving his 18T truck in reverse up our driveway to deliver the soil with the crane. Friendly and was great at doing the delivery. Matt who took booking was also very helpful and efficient. Great place to wander around at The Attic shop too! Some amazing finds there!

We hired a skip from Cheshire Demolition. Not only was it a good price but the service was FANTASTIC! From ordering the skip, the staff made sure we had the skip delivered withinin the set timescale, to delivery and collection of which the driver was very friendly. We also visited the site to discover an abundance of materials for the garden from flagging and gravel to garden ornaments not to mention some weird and wonderful reclaimed artefacts. It has given us some great ideas and we'll be definitely placing an order soon. This is my new favourite place! A massive thank you!
