I have worked in the Real Estate services industry for over 25 years and found myself in the process of selling my own home. Being the consumer was a different feeling as I have been the primary provider for decades. The experience has really helped me understand the stress that the home sale/purchase creates. There are many moving parts and requests during the transaction.

The initial Home Inspection team for the buyer identified potential issues with my roof. The description provided by the home inspector was broad based and vague. I reached out to Roof Checks for help. And help they did! They visited my house, clearly identified that there were some deficiencies regarding my roofing system and provided a detailed scope of work with pricing and pictures.

We needed the work done. We authorized the repairs through a very simple docusign process. An appointment was made and the Roof Checks team arrived on time to the house. All the team members I interface with were clean cut and driving professional vehicles. This has not been my experience in the past with some roofing contractors. They completed the job and took all the trash.

I could not tell that the job happened. I was sent a summary of the job the following day to include comprehensive pictures that I then forwarded to my agent. My agent was shocked with the quality of the pictures! I will refer Roof Checks to every person I meet that requires a roofing inspection and/or repairs. These guys are the best!

This small company definitely makes a grand impact, professionally and financially! I was in the middle of the purchasing process of a 1975 home with an untouched roof! Not sure in how long but my guess is at least 30years since the plywood size was not up to code. As part of the sale of my home, the buyer requested a 2-year roof certification. I called another company first who did not answer the phone so called Roofchecks, who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment for the next day. The inspector came out, clearly explained the repairs needed to obtain certification and sent me his report with cost estimates that same day.

We had a very significant leak and I wanted to wait until there was a big storm to test out the repairs and write this review. Well, the leak is completely gone! I was very happy with my experience with this team. We had prompt responses every time I reached out to make an appointment, appointments were timely and efficient, and the repairs were very well done.

Upon the roof inspection, the cause of the leak was discovered as well as some broken roof tiles, dry rot, and build-up at crucial drainage points. They performed the work but also found additional dry rot, which they communicated the additional costs to me immediately and repaired that as well. They even painted the new sections which was not part of their original scope. Very very happy with their work and I would recommend to anyone.
