I have had virtually the whole of my house maintained by Findlay's. New EPDM flat roof over the garage and utility room, new main pitched roof for the house. Lower pitched roof over porch and bay window, new hanging tiles to front and back of main house, and finally the whole house brickwork repointed. The first contract was for the garage and utilty.

This was carried out perfectly, and all documentation supplied ie. Building certificate, Insurance backed guarantee and registered Roofing certificate. On the basis of this quality work, I proceeded to have all the previously mentioned work undertaken over 3 additional contracts. Now this work was carried out, to the same high standard, however, it is now over 5 months since completion and after repeated communication and never-ending promises from their office, I have received no further documentation other than a letter from Findlay.

The cost of using this company is basically twice as much as any other local roofing contractor would charge for equally as a
good work. The benefit to me was the inclusion of building certificates which should be registered with the local council and the insurance backed guarantee. Without them, this is a highly priced job with no protection.

My neighbour and I decided that our roofs needed replacing. Everyone from the surveyor to the workers were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately things were delayed by problems with the gable end which were unforeseen and not discovered until my old roof had been removed. As this job now involved bricklayers a certain amount of delay occurred due to other jobs having to be reorganised so they could sort out the problem.

The roof was made watertight and when the new tiles were ready to be fitted they worked hard to compete. My thanks to all for jobs well done, especially the brickies. However communication between the office and us the customers were poor and need improvement which is why Findleys did not get the top mark.

Found findleys after speaking to my neighbours. Placed an order for at first a repair and decided later to change to a full new roof once damage had been visible. They take a real pride in doing their job well - took the time throughout to explain what they were doing and show me photographs. Seem to use good quality products and go above and beyond in delivering a great job which gives you great confidence with the work done.

Searched online looking for a roofing company and looked at reviews and reputations of different companies. Chose three companies for estimates but some never got back to us or turned up. Findley's arrived promptly within a could of days and priced a new flat roof. Paul Ainsworth then attended and conducted a temporary repair prior to having the works completed.

There was a delay while storms and Xmas period passed and then work began in April. Communication could of been better throughout however the end finished job has been well received and Scott and the young men have kept us informed daily about progress and updates. Happy to meet Grant the director on site and talk about the job and the customer experience.

Findley Roofing installed a new roof for us a month ago. The process from the initial survey by Mark through to the installation went very smoothly. Gary and Andy were courteous and friendly. They explained clearly everything that they were doing. We were impressed that the owner Grant Findley visited in person several times to see how the work was progressing.

Decided to place an order for a repair and then upgrade to a new roof. Lads turned up and conducted a new roof in under one week.
Scaffolders were hard on the plants and a bit rough but it’s a heavy job. Everything looks good and we would recommend the company. We are pleased with the work conducted by findleys.

Found Findley's after seeing multiple works in and around Trimdon. Saw that they conducted good work, and decided to have our flat roof done also. lads worked well and cannot fault the workmanship and the men. they communicated that my main roof was in poor condition and we were flabbergasted after seeing the state previous cowboy contractors have left it in.

We have since placed an order for a new main roof as a result from Findley's.

A very professional company from the initial survey through to the work being carried out during January 2021 to completion within a few weeks. We are delighted with our complete new roof and the work undertaken on the dormer roof and cladding. We are looking forward to the next stage to replace our front porch and replace our flat kitchen roof. We would definitely recommend Findley Roofing and Building.

Employed these guys to carry out a re-roof at our property. Grant findley was easy to deal with and we were very impressed with the finish. Our neighbours have also had the same re-roof done now by Findleys and the building looks great. Only complaint would be that the skip was left for 3 days outside our property. although not Findleys fault, we have informed obriens waste management of such. Overall a job very well done, and would highly reccommend.

After the recent storms in our area my house was worse for wear. I called up a bunch of roofers and builders, but Findley Roofing & Building seemed to have ample experience with temporary repairs and storm damage. Sufficed to say I chose them to carry out my work, looks like I chose correctly, they came out and fixed my house for free at first to get me through the bad weather. Then when the storm had passed they came back to permanently fix my home. It was a fantastic service. Second to none. I would advise anybody to use them!

When we first moved into our office it needed a new flat roof. Mr Findley and his team came out and installed a brand new Rubber Bond EPDM flat roof and now its super water resistant. We would advise anyone who wants a top notch job doing to use this firm, they are worth every penny!

Findley Roofing recently carried out a number of significant improvements at our Edwardian terrace house to our complete satisfaction. The whole of the rear of the property was repointed, new leaded covering to two bay windows was installed, new limestone paving was laid to replace existing slabs and a garden wall was re-rendered. The work was carried out efficiently and all the teams involved were punctual, professional and respected our property. The work was effectively monitored by senior staff and any snags that arose were dealt with promptly and with full consultation.
