Please be wary of this company. They failed to deliver an order I had placed for almost 2 months (even after I had written to them about this), then failed to accept a return - in breach of both the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contract Regulations which make it a legal requirement to offer a reasonable return period. The company then threatened to sue me for defamation if I shared my experience in an online review!

The products you will find here are available from many other sellers. Shop elsewhere and support small businesses who aren't likely to take your money and not provide the goods/ service you have paid for. [26/11]: in reply to the owner's response - my transaction was absolutely with this company (who threatened me with a lawsuit if I made a negative online review).

Now that I have written that review to help other buyers avoid a bad experience, they are pretending to have no record of my order. That's terrifying. Please don't buy from them, there are plenty of honest companies out there with decent customer service who deserve our business.

Last night I bought 2 lamps from them. This afternoon got a refund to my PayPal account and no email from Lighting and Lights explaining why my order had been cancelled. They removed said lamps from their website so I suppose they didn't have them in stock but still advertised and we're selling them. If I didn't pay with PayPal I would be waiting for my order to be shipped until I got refunded into my account in few days time. Very unprofessional customer service. They sell the same lights as other online shops in UK so I won't bother even looking at their website again.

A top rate company. I have had cause to contact L & L on two separate occasions regarding warranty replacements and have found their response to be both sympathetic and immediate. Items have been replaced without any hassle. Definitely my "First Stop Lighting Shop".
