DPR Roofing Huddersfield

Asked about a suspected roof leak causing internal wall damage to our bedroom. They sent out a surveyor to assess. They viewed the issues in and outside our house and they diagnosed the problems being due to a roof issue. They happily fitted us in where they could between jobs, to which we were delighted with. The work was carried out whilst we were away and they provided us with photos for proof of works done - jobs a good one.

Then the problems started from there. Our wall was not in any way fixed or changed after the roof works. We sent through images of the state of our wall after the works to which the director replied stating that the problem was in fact a condensation issue. We had multiple other assessments saying that the problem was condensation based but we decided to listen to the experts saying that it was a roof issue.

When I questioned why they hadn't picked up the condensation issue they simply put it off saying "you told us it was a roof leak" so they took our word for it rather than using their expertise. Why couldn't the company that are qualified to deal with condensation issues tell us this was an issue? We aren't the experts in this trade but they took our word for it.

What was the point in the 'survey'? I would expect the professionals to inform us of all/any problems that they could help with. If I go into a doctor's with a foot injury telling them it's broken, but it was actually sprained, I would expect them to tell me I'm incorrect. We asked them to come back out and assess the area again but were hit by "you have to pay for the roof before we can come back" - shocking.

They had misdiagnosed our issue. It seems the game plan with DPR is on a trial and error basis. Verdict: I wouldn't recommend this company however if you do use them don't mention anything about what you think the issue is. They will do what you think it is regardless of what the actual solution is albeit the work you get done is great.

We employed this company to do a small repair to our flat roof and to put a waterproof seal on the whole roof. The service was excellent throughout. They turned up on time to survey the roof and on the 2 days they were here for the job. They were polite throughout and got on with the job efficiently. I was very pleased with the work done. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Only went to DPR because I'd used F C Burrows for years but when I wanted a job doing they didn't come back to me. DPR quoted quickly, came when they said, did a good job, cleared up well and gave me a 10 year written guarantee. What more can I say. If needed they'll be my first choice in future

The quote was reasonable and very professionally done, the workers came exactly when they said they would - even a third party scaffolding firm - and they were communicative and pleasant throughout. In the recent bad weather the wind caused damage to our roof Darran handled our predicament very well and took all our stress out of a difficult situation I can only recommend the company’s professionalism in all aspects of the job in hand highly recommended

We've had a survey carried out and our roof repaired by the DPR team. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Darren and the team are total professionals throughout initial survey to carrying out the work. The work is carried out to the highest of standards and they were accommodating enough to work around our tight timescales. Would use again without hesitation!

We are just having DPR Ltd do our outbuildings roofing structure. We are so pleased with the way the works are progressing in this terrible weather. Nothing is too much for Darren/Neil and their dedicated teams. Plenty of tea and sandwiches is the fuel needed in these temperatures. We chose DPR as they have been trading from the late 1980's so they have stood the test of time and we saw so many positive reviews plus we also visited other active sites before giving them the job.

We had a number of quotes (3) and although they were not the cheapest I now know that the quality is remembered long after the cost is forgotten about. Quality staff and quality materials can only result in a splendid job. Thank you DPR Ltd.

Called a few companies to fix my leaking roof most couldn't get out however DPR was the one who got this sorted asap!

Just had all my roof repaired by DPR after they were referred to me from a family member who had work done. My house had been bodged by others before I bought it and I needed a good roofer to inspect and report what was needed. DPR found lots of defects and all these were backed up with a very comprehensive report with dozens of images in there. I even received a short video of leakage occurring as it happened. I am very pleased with the end result and the value of the works cost. Definitely recommend 100%. Thank you DPR
