3rd time we've had them out, always come and give a quote them it's up to you, always finished to a high standard!

Starts loud construction at half 8 in the morning on a weekend and blasting music. How can you be that inconsiderate in such a populated area!

My landlord hired Thomas Hedley & Sons to complete a full roof repair in August 2019. There were issues with getting the scaffolding up prior to the work taking place, and when dealing with Thomas Hedley on the phone, he came across rude and aggressive. After the work was completed, there was mess left behind as well as a broken pot in the back yard.

It also appeared that one member of team let themselves into my property using the loft hatch to go to the bathroom. I offered the keys on a number of occasions as was advised this wasn't necessary. I always ensure the bathroom door is closed properly and wouldn't even open if a gust of wind was to blow through the house, yet I came home one day to find a large amount of debris under the loft hatch and the bathroom door wide open.

Upon inspecting the loft, it was evident the mess inside had not been cleaned up. It took until March 2020 for this to finally be cleaned despite numerous calls to Thomas Hedley and numerous cancellations or no shows from them. There was also an issue with water still entering the property around the chimney breast. Thomas Hedley spoke to me in person about this and advised it was coming in from my neighbours property as the pointing hadn't been finished on their chimney and spoke to me in a very condescending tone when I advised him the water was coming in from around the flashings on my side of the chimney.

He said he put a leaflet through their door for them to contact him. After speaking to my neighbours it was clear this hadn't happened. My landlords in the end got a second contractor out to fix this issue and upon the work being completed it was noted that there were tiles missing around the chimney and this was an error on Thomas Hedley's part as this should have been completed when the roof was being replaced. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Used them a quite a few years back, sent a kid to do a mans job and as a result an accident happened took them to court and won

Last year they replaced a Fascia Board and Guttering at the rear of my house. The two young men who arrived were polite and professional. They produced a good quality length of Timber that had been prepared with three coats of good gloss paint and a good quality length of guttering. I was very satisfied with the finished work. I have used them for replacement tiles and they have always done a good job for me.

They also re-felted a garage roof which adjoins the rear of my house and the skill and workmanship was a pleasure to watch, they did a perfect job. So far, very satisfied with everything they have done. I have never been charged for a Estimate, they have always been free!

Critical: Responsiveness Arrived to inspect a roof but never even turned up with a ladder. Never returned to follow up when he said he would. Not reliable.

Came round to quote for a job, said they'd send the quote soon, never heard from them again.
