I contacted Dalton Roofing after a previous unreliable contractor had done a botched job of replacing the guttering at the rear of my house, and I was no longer able to make contact with them. Mr Philip Dalton himself came out to assess the work where overflow from the poorly attached guttering had caused soaking of my outer wall causing moss growth and damp problems internally.

Mr Dalton kindly arranged for a team of his to come the very next day to sort out the problems. Craig and Angus duly arrived on time and undertook the work exactly as per Mr Dalton's work schedule. This involved replacing the guttering with a round type with properly spaced clips, and with a matching upvc facia board. Also fitting a new matching downpipe and a box hopper to catch the rainwater and prevent overflow from my neighbours property cascading onto my stonework. Craig and Angus also worked efficiently to wire brush accumulated moss from my stonework and apply a spray to prevent regrowth.

The work was completed professionally in one working day, and within a few days of making my first contact with the company. The cost was very reasonable and the work is guaranteed should any unexpected problems arise. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dalton Roofing based on my experience of them.

My parents had a leak from their Dormer window into their main bedroom. With them being elderly I wanted to ensure I used a professional reputable company. I gave Dalton roofing a call and arranged for Phil to come and have a look to see what work was required. Following Phil's survey we quickly received a professional detailed quote with a description of the work that was required.

As scaffold was required to carry out the work, we decided to have the facias and soffits replaced to the front of the house as they were looking a little tired. We were very pleased to have such a polite and professional team on site to undertake the work. They were very helpful and explained everything they needed to do before work started. They were a pleasure to have to do the work for us. Our thanks also go to Shannon in the Office who kept in touch with us at all times. We would have no hesitation recommending Dalton roofing.

I haven't used their roofing services yet. However, I must admit that I have never encountered such a professionally made quotation before. The quotation covers exactly the scope of work. It's a really great job. Keep it up.

On the strength of other reviews I gave Dalton Roofing a call, I only had a relatively minor repair that needed doing on my roof, but Phil came out to have and look was more than happy to book the job in. The following day as arranged the guys came to do the repair, a very courteous and professional team. I'll be using Dalton next time I need roofing work done, thankyou!

Needed work doing to my roof called at office of Dalton roofing in Chesterfield the office staff sent someone round the next dayfriday] and after looking at the roof sent a team from Daltor roofing the next working day [monday] the guys arrived on the day did not waste any time they got up on the roof and started the work when they compleated the work the informed me what had been done. this is the first time I have used Dalton roofing but can recomend them every one was so helpfull and the work they did was first class

The team did a sterling job on my chimney and coping stone repointing, as well as fitting new guttering and facias. They originally quoted 4 weeks but came within 1 week. Furthermore, there had been some confusion over the quote, with the team actually replacing some guttering that was not needed (confused side extension for rear extension). Despite this, Phil arranged for the quoted work to be completed at no extra cost and they came the next morning. Excellent customer service.

Great professional service at a very competitive price. Having moved house several times over the last 30 years they ha e always been my first contact for everything roof related.

Dangerous, rude and inconsiderate. Scaffolding erected in front of my door, which is the only exit to my property, and waste materials thrown off the roof onto the ground blocking access too. Dangerous in the event of an emergency. Didn't even check to see if anyone was home. Rude scaffolding team when asked not to block access, who refused to assemble it differently and didn't like me taking photos of their mess. No attempt at social distancing. I'd look elsewhere.

If these idiots do roofing like their dangerous driving then you would have a serious problem! Avoid these foul mouth aggressive men that can't drive and almost cause accidents

This is the second time we used Dalton roofing. In October 2020 they repaired our dormer. In March 2021 they sorted out a leak caused by some degraded felt. Everyone we have had dealings with from Dalton Roofing have been polite and professional. They clearly have high standards of customer service and work. On each occasion the roofers that attended our property have been approachable, knowledgeable and have been diligent.

The work done was completed on time and within budget. They left the site tidy too with a good job done. Having had 2 jobs successfully done I would recommend Dalton Roofing without hesitation!

I used a cheaper quote, the work was appalling! I returned to Dalton Roofing, who provided me with an excellent service with skilled workmen and quality products. There was more work than initially quoted but they didn't charge extra! My roof is now water tight! I would recommend this company.

Messaged DR through the FB page & was promptly replied to & an appointment booked. DR arrived as agreed & did a thorough investigation, diagnosed the issue & remedy & a. quote was issued by the office the next day.

On accepting the quote the DR team were dispatched on the agreed date & the work carried out to a high standard quickly & efficiently. Thank you Dalton Roofing for a seamless service. Will definitely use them again.

What a lovely company this is. Excellent customer care and service. Provided honest advice about our roof ridge tiles and a quote was received promptly by email from the Office Manager. They gave a good estimate on price, when they could do the work, and how long it would take. From the quote to the finished roof the customer care was excellent. The team are very professional, polite and asked us to keep checking their work and that we were satisfied with the progress and finished roof. very happy customers

As two busy NHS workers at the moment who discovered a tile missing and then an issue with the roof underneath which meant that our house wasn't water-tight it was a relief to get a response from Dalton Roofing on a Sunday and confirm that they would be able to come and look at the work on Monday. Phil arrived when planned and was flexible in arranging a time to come.

They agreed to come and complete the work 2 days later, and have just arrived when planned and completed the work professionally and quickly leaving us with a roof that won't leak and allowing us to focus work and everything else that is going with the NHS at the moment. Can't thank Dalton roofing enough. Would definitely recommend and will use again if we have a problem in the future. Thanks again!

I am very pleased with they job Dalton Roofing have done on the small hole in my roof. I had struggled to find anyone to do it as it was such a small job but they got it sorted the same day and the hole has disappeared. I would definitely recommend Dalton Roofing

Friendly and efficient service, had problems with roof on my extension, had builder back several time but could not fix problem. Called Phil who came on time to look at the work, and got the work done as soon as possible. had no problem since. Recommended Phil to my son who had a roof problem and he received the same quick, friendly service. the work people were very friendly, quick and tidy.
