I have a difficult to repair flat roof high up on a detached property. My local roofer quoted twice the price Bailey's did the work for, and then baulked at the last minute when he realised timbers might need replacing. Baileys did a great job without the theatrics so often employed by builders to bump up the price. Service: Roof repair

Bailey Roofing who were employed by Mears/YourMK on behalf of Milton Keynes Council, were meant to of built a disabled access ramp for the disabled tenant it was bad from day one and within 18 months well even the Housing Ombudsman said it wasn't fit for purpose. As for Mears/YourMK they saw nothing wrong with it of course all ramps come with a swimming pool in the middle, concrete clogging the drain, expansion gaps that have large holes within 18 months using cheap materials, and a cracked path directly outside the house from them parking on it that of course no one wants to repair.
Even the second front door that they were meant to install didn't fit the door surround, so the disabled tenant had to take Milton Keynes Council to court and the result was to rebuild the disabled access ramp for a second time of course not by Bailey Roofing. It turns out that Bailey Roofing were complaining about the review that was left when what they should have been more concerned about the disabled access ramp that they built, the second front door they installed and they actually got paid for both by Milton Keynes Council.

They did my roof under council contract, they cut my phone wire, left my windows blocked in then height of summer, the guttering leaks, the downpipe is coming away, the roof leaks and its been months since its been reported. Left debris all over my gardens, nails hanging from the new facia and sofits. When they stripped my roof they left it uncovered and it rained and stained the ceilings, had to stain block and repaint. The phone wire is hanging of my house. Have called council, Mears and Bailey multiple times and still nothing.

Bailey were chosen by our builder to construct the new roof for our extension, with leadwork to new dormer windows, an existing bay window, and our existing porch. The roof looks great, and the work was done to a high standard. Thanks Martin for time and care taken over the leadwork, to match it in to the look of the rest of the house.

Did not show up, and claim they have no reconciliation, which may be true but that's no fault. The 3 stars is for a previous job that is actually quite good. The job that I'm not happy with is ridiculous, gutter brackets have been drilled into mortar rather than the brick. As a result the brackets have come loose. If I get the typical no records of this work response, I'll edit with proof of dates from the council

My Nan called this company to get a quote to fix a leak on her porch. A man came round and immediately picked up a roof leak and came up with a massive list of things that would need to be replaced and fixed, confusing her with terminology to the extent where she had to call a neighbour over to just understand what was being said. This man gave her a ridiculously expensive quote in excess of 1,500.
She then got a second opinion from another company - it turned out to be just some filler that rotted away on top of the door that needed replacing, which the neighbour did for free. I would recommend anyone thinking of using this company to get a second opinion - do not take their word.
