Good company, very professional service and friendly staff. We used them through our insurance after storm Eunice. The insurance took a lot of time to give their greenlight (while they sent Ray Jones to assess damage in the first place, but still required 3 quotes, etc) but in the end this company was the cheapest and most reliable I think. They did the works rapidly and we are very satisfied. Highly recommended.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ray Jones Roofing ltd. They were very quick and efficient. Organising the scaffolding and turning up to do the work in no time at all. The roofers themselves were very good and polite, and even cleaned out my gutters while up on the roof. They were recommended by my insurance company but I would easily use them again if the need arises.

We contacted Ray Jones and they were super helpful and sent round a team that evening to weather proof the house until they could give us an estimate. I'm so glad to be able to write a review for Ray Jones roofing as I have used them to replace three different roofs over the last 12 months. My first experience of using them was for a flat roof on a block of flats. It was a complex insurance job that had gone absolutely nowhere for nearly a year. In desperation I turned to the next-door neighbour forum to ask for roofing recommendations and so many people responded with Ray Jones roofing that I got in touch.

It was the best thing I could have done. They worked tirelessly with me and the loss adjustor to get the work back on track and installed an excellent triple layered felt roof on the building. The quality of their work and their communication was second to none, such that the building consultant appointed by the loss adjustor said they were one of the most professional roofing companies that he had had the pleasure of working with.

As a result of that positive experience I asked Ray Jones to replace two further roofs for me. One was on a Victorian terraced building with a butterfly roof and central gutter, the other a traditional Victorian end of terrace. On Ray Jones' advice we used concrete tiles for both of those. I am so happy, both with the work done and with the ease in the business relationship.

The eponymous Ray Jones has worked with me to keep costs down, reusing materials where possible, suggesting the simplest solutions to the various problems. Work has started either on time or early and finished sooner than expected. The women who work in the office are friendly and efficient, the roofers on site are skilled and personable. One of the things that I have really enjoyed on site visits has been observing the positive relationship between the older, more experienced roofers and their younger apprentices. The respect with which the roofers treat each other is self evident. It really has been a pleasure to work with them all. I can't recommend this company highly enough

This review is about how my enquiry was handled after Storm Eunice 2022. My insurance company recommended that I call Ray Jones to resolve the work involved in my building insurance claim. So off i went to call Ray Jones on Saturday 19th February. The phone was answered by Jayne - and the call started brilliantly. I explained the situation with my insurance company and that they recommend Ray Jones to me.

I also explained the damage to my roof to Jayne. Jayne put me on hold to find out the availability. Then Jayne returned to say "I'm afraid no one can see you until Tuesday " I replied - that is absolutely fine as it was 5pm on a Saturday and I thought Tuesday was not all that far away. I asked what would I need to do to secure a visit on Tuesday - as Jayne had let me know that there was availability then.

I wanted to accept that booking. "Email me over the photos so I can assess and allocate someone to you" I already had taken photos as part of my insurance claim - so I did this straight away during the call. " Have you got them? So we can get booked in?" Jayne's reply was "sorry, I'm not logged onto that pc I'm at someone else's desk" Rather than view the photos and finish the booking she had offered - Jayne promised me a phone call back.

The phone call back would have been to talk further about the damage and to get someone over. In summary, it's now Thursday 24th February 22 and I'm still waiting for a call back regarding an appointment on Tuesday 22nd. I couldn't recommend the service provided by Jayne/ Ray Jones - simple processess I.e. Keeping a commitment you've made to a customer were broken.

Wow, top folks at this company. Got them via Saga after the big storm and local firm who were actually working in the road let us down. My dad had a hole in his roof and some damage to the porch. Came out on time and we're quick and professional with a permanent repair, both guys were polite and clearly knowledgeable, I also spoke to office and the lady there was very friendly and got me the information I needed quickly which was must appreciated as I had a moaning toddler and vulnerable worried father with dementia. 10/10, hope I never need a roofer but if I do I will be calling them.

Very please with service provided, had leak in roof causing rain water damage to on-suite bathroom ceiling. They gave a very competitive estimate which I accepted. They came round very quickly and repaired leak in roof solving problem, very helpful and friendly work people, would definitely recommend and use again.

Amazing service from start to finish. Terri in the office was communicative keeping us fully updated on the job at all times. We had Jason and George working on our property, both were polite, friendly and knowledgeable and did a very high quality job replacing our flashing. It wasn't the cheapest quote but you get what you pay for. Thanks to the whole Ray Jones Team. Highly recommend.

Using Ray Jones roofing ensures a high quality job. I have used them twice so far, once for chimney repairs and once to line some tricky concrete guttering with felt. Both times I received photos with the estimate and photos after the job was done. The trouble with roofing is that very often you can't see it yourself and I trust this company to tell me what really needs doing for long lasting repair rather than fob me off with a quick fix job which won't last.
