In the early 70's some of the major tile manufacturers struggled to meet demand, their factories simply couldn't keep up which made things very difficult for roofers. In response Fred and Jim Bick who were contractors began to place larger orders and build up their own stock. Awful service ordered roof tiles paid my money in good faith lost other suppliers as I took the word of alltype and they couldn't deliver and staff member Owen lied to his manager and said I shouted at him I was told they had my product and didn't lied this is not the way to treat customer's I know have a whole in my roof because of this supplier

My name is Paul from Roomers construction & have been using All Types Roofing supplies over many years & employ many roofing contractors who hold accounts with your company spending many thousands of pounds on roofing materials at your branch. Last week I purchased 8 chimney pots & 8 mushroom vents from your branch & today I tried to return 1 pot as was not required.
On my visit I was asked by your salesman to have yards man check returned goods. When I approached yards man he was dissecting his wedding albums tearing up pages & was in a very bad mood & was very rude & challenging. On his inspection of the pot pointed out that there was a few minor splashes of mortar on pot of which I removed quite easily with white spirit.
Once mortar was removed your salesman left decision on pot to be returned upon yards man decision who claimed that as white spirit was used to clean minor splashes, chimney pot was second hand & was non returnable. Pot is in immaculate condition. To be honest I can keep the pot & use it at a later date. What I am frustrated with is that I have been a loyal customer with All Type Roofing for many years spending 100.000s of thousands of pounds & you are willing to lose a loyal customer on the say so & manner of a yards man who has lost respect for loyal customers.
To be honest I believe that your yards man requires to be reminded that home issues & relationships should not influence his attitude at work & his mannerism should be of reason, & for a salesman to rely on a judgement of a unacknowledged yards man is unacceptable. To lose a loyal customer over a 60.00 chimney pot.thats so sad. Regards, Paul from Roomers.
