Clevedon Felt Roofing were called shortly after Storm Arwen blew tiles off our roof and their operator arrived the same day. We had expected no more than an estimate, but the tiles were replaced immediately for surprisingly little cost. Superb service, Thankyou Service: Roof repair

Food was excellent although service was very slow due to not enough staff and a really odd system. Shown to your table & then given a single sheet menu. A short wait for a waitress to come and ask what we would like, but then ages for one to come back with a ticket each (for 3 out of 4 of us!?) Me being a Vegetarian didn't seem to warrant one! We waited?

Then my 1 slice of nut roast arrived on a single platter! (which we had to then just leave on the table, uncovered!) whilst going up to the Carvery to get my vegetables! On going back to the table a waitress offered to carry my plate back, which (being a walking stick user) I was grateful. I mentioned not liking veggie gravly and saying I actually liked cheese sauce instead.

The waitress immediately said it was no problem at all (as they offered Cauli cheese as one of the 8? veggies at the carvery) to get some extra sauce, which was accepted and was wonderfully tasty. The food was plentiful, tasty and hot. The waiting staff were helpful and friendly BUT the system does need looking at. The food system was NOT explained, one of us actually had to go and find a waitress, to ask what to do!

And to leave an uncovered lonely slice of nut roast on the table, was odd! We also had a very long wait to a: order a desert, then b: an even longer to receive it, then c: one of our party not even receiving his (although it was the same as mine!?) It then took an age to arrive! Resulting in us finishing ours before receiving theirs! Very poor. Yes it was quite busy but the system does need looking at.

May I suggest that: A; explain the food ordering system when given the menus? B; explained that a waitress would return when 'ordered food' (special dietary requirements) was cooked & ready to serve and then, C; actually shown to the Carvery, where we could collect the 'special ordered food' along with the others. [Having been in the catering business (in one form and another and also a family catering business) for the best part of 30 years, I found the system odd, very inefficient and confusing].

We saw at least 4 (possibly more) waiting staff serving at our table, there just seemed to be no continuity? We didn't know to to ask about ordering desert or, rectifying the order problem. So 4/5 stars
