Welbro Project Management Ltd was born from Welbro Construction Solutions Ltd, a roofing and cladding contractor which has long since ceased trading. The original concept was Welbro Construction Solutions would operate as a traditional roofing and cladding contractor, with Welbro Project Management providing design and site management services for main contractors on large or complex roofing and cladding projects. We established Welbro Construction Solutions in 1998, and Welbro Project Management started trading two years later.
Since 2000 we have grown our team from humble beginnings but there has always been a core of people within the company with decades of experience between them. Our Chairman, Keith Welch entered the industry as a youth working for Cape Universal, a manufacturer of asbestos cement roofing products and went onto work for two industry leading roofing and cladding companies before establishing Welbro with his Co-Directors.
Welbro is a family run company, small enough to care but big enough to perform. Like a family, we support each other and work as a unit to achieve our goals. There is a "Welbro Way" of doing things; together, promptly, efficiently and correctly. We all know that if Welbro prospers we will all prosper, that's a great motivation to succeed.
Welbro covers the UK from the South Coast head office and has a satellite office in the Falkland Islands. The majority of our work is within England and the Falkland Islands but for larger or more complex refurbishment projects we are happy to travel. We have undertaken successful projects from Aberdeen to Helston in Cornwall and have travelled to the Channel Islands, Cape Verde, Ascension Island and the Falkland Islands for overseas clients.
